10th GUÍA PEÑÍN SELECTION NEW YORK

656x100-ny_eeuu

Which country has the most number of acres devoted to wine production? Spain!  Taking advantage of a range of climates that range from continental to Mediterranean and Atlantic, cool mountain to semi-desert; multiple terrains; a collection of over 400 autochthonous grape varieties, and a universe of cultural influences, Spanish vintners make some of the most distinctive, high quality wines in the world.  And, no one has explored the realm of Spanish wines in the past 35 years as much as José Peñin.  His annually published Guía Peñín, which evaluates over 11,000 wines from across Spain’s 120 demarcated zones, remains the most comprehensive reference to the country’s wines.

Please join us on Wednesday, May 23, 2018, along with José Peñin, for an exploration of Spain’s exemplary wines presented by over 40 producers from throughout the country.
